SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

At Crocco E. s.r.l., we are aware that our employees are the real value added of our company and with that in mind, we have decided to develop and adopt a Managing System for our Social Responsibility Policy, consistent with the International Standard SA 8000:2008.
The main objective of the system is to create an environment in which all the members of our staff can enjoy the best working conditions.

FOR CROCCO E. S.R.L. THIS MEANS:

  • Respecting the rights of our employees and promoting professional and personal growth through constant motivation;
  • Getting our suppliers gradually involved in our ethic journey, as we hope to have them as partners also in the socially responsible aspects of our business;
  • Considering our customers as a key element in our success, always careful to guarantee a service which reflects the ethical behaviour of our company.

WITH THAT IN MIND, CROCCO E. S.R.L. OFFICIALLY AGREES TO ENDORSE AND CONFORM TO:

  • Every requirement listed in the International Standard SA 8000:2008;
  • The Conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO);
  • The Conventions of the United Nations on Children’s Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
  • All the National and International Laws on the subject, including the D. Lgs. 81/2008and subsequent amendments on occupational safety and the D. Lgs. 196/03 and subsequent amendments which concerns confidentiality and personal data processing;

SPECIFICALLY, CROCCO S.R.L. AGREES TO CONFORM TO THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS OF THE SA 8000:

  • Child labour: do not exploit or support child labour;
  • Forced labour: do not exploit or support forced labour;
  • Occupational health and safety: to ensure a healthy and safe workplace to all the employees;
  • Freedom of association and collective bargaining: to respect the right of every worker to join and form unions;
  • Disciplinary treatments: do not use or support corporal punishments, mental or physical coercion nor verbal abuse;
  • Hours of work: to operate with compliance to the law and the collective agreement (CCNL);
  • Wage levels: to take into account the legal minimum wage level;
  • Managing system: to adopt and keep active a managing system for our social responsibility policy by defining purposes and aspects to improve and ultimately verifying the accomplishments.

Every year, when the Board of directors is reviewed, our company agrees to set new measurable and quantifiable objectives for our social responsibility policy. These objectiveswill constantly improve our performances. With this, we want to give great value to the active participation of our employees, suppliers and stakeholders in the formulation of proposals and ideas. All this will be done through communication activities, training and raising awareness on the themes concerning social responsibility.
